Route choices, dungeons and Relics
Levels, tunnel exits, dungeons and Relics: what the developers have described so far and which route questions it answers.
Official sources only, no build verified
In an interview with FakeFish founder Aku Jauhiainen, the journey runs north through separate levels. A tunnel at the end of a level leads to the next choice. He describes handcrafted terrain alongside procedural placement of key locations, loot and enemies. A trailer therefore cannot establish a fixed loot map for every run.
The Spring Development Update of 2026-05-13 reported new levels with multiple exits and progression that carries between levels. Dungeons were overhauled. According to the update, Relics found there can be activated aboard the train for temporary benefits. It did not name individual Relics or publish their effects and durations.
Those statements support three route-planning questions: Which exit is the crew aiming for? Which detours are worth the cold and supplies? Is a dungeon worth entering for a Relic? A specific route or drop-rate recommendation would need a local build test. A future map should keep level connections separate from locations that can vary between runs.
