What we know about the train
Eden Engine, carriages, workstations and defenses: the train systems the developers have announced, and what is still unknown.

The Eden Engine moves the train through the frozen world. The official description ties its operation to fuel, power and heat. The train can grow with additional carriages, workstations, storage and defenses. Reinforced walls and engine upgrades are also announced.
These are system areas, not an upgrade tree. Public sources do not yet provide reliable costs, slots, prerequisites or exact effects. A fixed build order or performance table would turn an assumption into a game value. FrostrailBase's planned Train Builder should calculate costs only after they have been checked in a named build. Until then, it can offer a free layout sketch and show unknown values plainly.
The May 2026 development update also mentions repair workstations and train defense encounters. Both may change before Early Access. We will check which features are actually present in the next accessible build.
